STEM summer camps are a great way to bridge school years and continue learning, all while having fun! Check out the CNY STEM Summer Opportunities here.

Health & Biomedical Sciences Camp

Through lectures and hands-on laboratory investigations in state-of-the-art laboratories, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of molecular biology, pharmacology, immunology, biochemistry, and medical ethics. The goal for this Health & Biomedical Sciences Camp is not only to provide students with a window into the scientific basis of human health, but also to offer them a glimpse of college life through an engaging and challenging academic experience.
School may be winding down, but that doesn’t mean learning has to! In fact, it is vital that it doesn’t. When students let their brains take a break over the summer, they can lose the equivalent of two months of their grade-level math and reading skills. To combat summer learning loss and keep those STEM skills fresh over the summer, Project Lead The Way asked our Teachers of the Year to help us put together a list of super simple (and FUN!) STEM activities students can do over summer break.
The Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY) offers great activities and programs for students including the Junior Cafe Scientifique and the Sweet Lecture series.
The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology (MOST) offers fun activities and programs for students relating to science and technology.
