AHS Orchestra 2 receives Gold Award at NYSSMA Majors Festival

Congratulations to the Auburn High School Orchestra 2 for receiving a Gold Award at the New York State School Music Association Majors Festival in Mexico, NY on April 21. 

The NYSSMA Majors Festival Gold Award is a prestigious rating given to school ensembles (band, choir, orchestra) performing at NYSSMA festivals, recognizing high technical and artistic proficiency. It signified that an ensemble has demonstrated an outstanding level of technical and artistic skill in its performance. It is a high rating awarded at the NYSSMA.
