Talking About Consequences
Student Services provides a wide range of services to strengthen learning supports for all students. For some students, barriers to learning exist such as school adjustment problems; social, interpersonal, and family problems; learning problems; abuse and neglect; physical health problems; attendance problems; etc. Student Services personnel work on prevention, early intervention at the onset of problems, and interventions for severe, pervasive, and chronic problems.
Auburn Schools work to ensure academic success and promote healthy cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Students have proven to be resilient when external and internal barriers to learning are addressed.

The provision of social/emotional and academic supports facilitates student success. We value parent and community involvement in schools and encourage communicating, volunteering, learning at home, shared decision-making, and collaborating with the community. Strengthening school-parent-community relations will result in student success. These partnerships are mutually respectful and highly supportive for our students. Please feel free to contact us for information sharing and assistance.
